About

“Our thinking minds deprive us of the happiness that comes when we are living fully in the moment.”  -Ram Dass

This is my mission:

To soften the noise of daily life and awaken the beauty in ordinary moments—reminding us of our aliveness in the fleeting experience of the human condition.

My Journey into Mindfulness

There was a time when my mind rarely stopped. Thoughts ran in loops. My focus drifted. I often felt anxious in groups, distracted in work, and distant in daily life—as if I were always just slightly out of sync.

Then in 2013, I found myself sitting quietly in a small meditation group. I didn’t fully connect with the spiritual framework, but something about the practice itself—the stillness, the breath, the invitation to be present—opened something in me.

That was the beginning.

What mindfulness gave me wasn’t an escape, but a return.
A return to the present moment.
A return to the calm underneath the noise.
A return to myself.

From Struggle to Stillness

Before meditation, I struggled with focus. I carried the weight of depression in my teens and the buzzing anxiety of adulthood. The nonstop chatter of my mind often clouded my confidence and dimmed my sense of joy.

But when I began practicing mindfulness consistently, small but undeniable shifts began to happen.

  • I could read without losing myself in thought.
  • I could breathe through difficult moments.
  • I could show up more fully—in conversation, in silence, in life.

My nervous system softened.
My heart opened.
My inner world began to feel like a safe place to be.

Why I Created Mindful in a Minute

This space was born from a desire to share what I’ve learned—and continue to learn—with others.
Not from a place of perfection, but from practice. From presence.
I’m a trained mindfulness and meditation teacher, yes—but also a fellow human still finding her way. Someone who knows what it feels like to crave calm, clarity, and connection in a noisy world.

You don’t need hours of silence on a mountain.
You just need a moment.
One breath. One pause. One mindful minute.

Through gentle guidance, personal reflections, and simple practices, my hope is that this space becomes a soft place to land.
A place where you can remember the beauty of now—and of yourself.
